More rains expected in Delhi on Tuesday, says Met office
New Delhi: Rains lashed most parts of the city on the second consecutive day today, giving respite to people from sultry weather.

The Met office has predicted a partly cloudy sky with light rains and thundershowers in some parts of the city.

Almost all parts of the national capital witnessed rains today, bringing down temperature and reducing humidity level. The city received 4.2 mm rains between 8.30 am and 5.30 pm, according to the Meteorological department.

The maximum temperature was recorded three notches below the normal at 31.4 degrees Celsius while the minimum was recorded at around 22.7 deg Celsius.

The humidity level oscillated between 92 and 72 per cent.
