The body of a municipal contractor in Delhi who was stabbed to death, was recovered (Representational)
New Delhi:
A 64-year-old MCD contractor was stabbed to death and his body was today found lying in a godown in Bawana area here, police said.
Jayram was returning after a ceremony at a cremation ground in the area when he was stabbed to death by unknown persons and his body was dumped in bushes in the godown, they said.
A man, known to him, saw his body lying there and informed the police.
He was rushed to a hospital where he was declared brought dead, the police said.
Police are questioning his relatives and family members to identify the accused, they said, adding it is suspected that the killing is a fallout of personal enmity.
