New Delhi:
There was no fire at the Ghitorni Metro station in south-west Delhi and an alarm raised by a passenger proved incorrect, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) officials have said.
According to a DMRC statement, service on the Line-2 (Jahangirpuri to HUDA City Centre) was briefly halted at around 1 pm after a passenger raised a fire alarm, reportedly after he noticed a spark in the rear car of a Metro coach.
However, on inspection it was confirmed that there was no fire.
Services resumed 30 minutes later.
