One dead, three injured as bus hits them in Delhi

New Delhi: A Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus killed a 50-year-old woman and injured three in Delhi on Saturday, said a police official.

The low-floor bus first hit another parked DTC bus. It then climbed onto the pavement, and struck an electric pole.

After coming back onto the road, it hit a woman and injured three people, then rammed into a car.

"Joginder, the driver of the bus, a man of about 33 years, was arrested for rash and negligent driving," said the police official.
