"Today's blood donation camp was very successful and we wish in the future also, people willingly come ahead to participate in such noble causes,"Mr Pankaj Solanki, president of the Federation of Resident Doctors Association, told IANS.

To mark the occasion, mobile health platform 1mg.com launched India's first mobile app through which a person seeking medical treatment can get to know about the best doctors available in his/her location.
The app allows users to search for doctors by their area of specialization as general practitioners, gynecologists, cardiologists, dentists etc. The app also covers practitioners of alternative therapies, homeopathy and ayurveda.
"Our new launch is strongly aligned with our core goal of enabling our users to take informed decisions for effective healthcare," said 1mg.com founder Prashant Tandon.
"We want to connect fragmented healthcare ecosystems to give patients a one-stop m-health solution and for this we are continuously developing new products," he said.
