It was a foggy morning today in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 9.6 degree Celsius, three notches above the season's average. The Met Office has forecast a partly cloudy day ahead.
According to the Northern Railway, 25 trains were cancelled and one had to be rescheduled. Eleven others were running late due to fog in and around Delhi.
Due to fog in the morning, the visibility was 800 metres. The sky is likely to remain partly cloudy throughout the day, an India Meteorological Department official said.
The maximum temperature of the day is likely to hover around 18 degrees Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m was 88 percent.
Saturday's maximum temperature was recorded at 17.2 degree Celsius, three notches below the season's average while the minimum temperature settled at 11 degree Celsius, four notches above the season's average.
