New Delhi:
Delhi woke up to a partly cloudy sky this morning with the weatherman predicting possibility of dust storms and thunderstorms in some parts of the city over the next 24 hours.
According to Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature was recorded at 28.9 degree Celsius, a notch above normal for the on-going period.
Relative humidity was recorded at 33 per cent at 8:30 AM.
"Maximum temperature is expected to rise up to 42 degree Celsius. As on 8:30 AM, sky was partly cloudy, but no rainfall was reported. Though, showers may occur later in the day. Dust storms and thunderstorms are likely over the next 24 hours," a Meteorological official said.
Day temperature is expected to settle around 42 degree Celsius.
Yesterday, the day temperature had settled at 42.6 degrees while the minimum temperature was recorded at 27.6 degree Celsius.
