New Delhi: A passenger was caught with a gun at a Delhi Metro station in the busy Nehru Place in the city's south this morning.
A 21-year-old man, Sumit Mishra, has been arrested for carrying the gun.
The police say the pistol was spotted during baggage screening by a policeman of the Central Industrial Security Force. The policeman stopped the conveyer belt and caught the passenger. His bag was physically checked and the gun found.
Sumit Mishra is a resident of Lucknow. He was taken to a control room and thoroughly searched before being arrested.
