Residents in Delhi woke up to a pleasant morning today with the minimum temperature settling at 26.4 degrees Celsius, which is normal for this time of the season.
According to a MeT department official, relative humidity was recorded at 81 per cent at 8:30 AM.
The Aya Nagar observatory reported rainfall of 1.7 mm over the past 24 hours, while those in Safdarjung and Lodhi Road recorded showers of 1 mm each.
Palam and Ridge observatories reported rains of 0.8 mm and 0.7 mm respectively.
"Very light rains or drizzle may occur later in the day. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around at 34 degrees Celsius," he said.
Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 33.3 degrees Celsius and 26.4 degrees Celsius respectively.
