Police bust AIIMS blood racket, arrest two
New Delhi: Delhi Police arrested two people allegedly involved in cheating people on the pretext of providing them blood for their relatives admitted in the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) in the national capital.

The police arrested Shiv Shanker, 26, and Rakesh, 24, after it got several complaints and information about a gang involved in disappearing with people's money after promising them blood for their relatives, admitted in AIIMS.

Neeraj Kumar, a resident of Mayur Vihar, made a complaint to the police recently that he was duped by three persons who took Rs 4000 for four units of blood for his relative.

The police then laid a trap near the AIIMS Flyover Park, where the accused had assembled to trap innocent people. They were arrested and later confessed to the crime, according to reports.
