New Delhi:
In a shocking incident, a 23-year-old pregnant woman was allegedly molested by a lab technician, who also tried to rape her, at a hospital where she had come for delivery.
The woman was admitted at the hospital last evening for delivery and the accused, who is working in a private laboratory, entered the room where she was admitted and molested her, police said.
They said the accused also tried to rape her, but he was caught by people around after the woman raised an alarm.
A senior police official said the lab technician went close to the woman on the pretext of physical examination. The incident took place early in the morning yesterday, they said.
