The Met office has forecast rains on Wednesday night or Thursday morning for Delhi. The capital experienced another warm, sunny day on Wednesday as the maximum temperature settled four notches above average at 33 degrees Celsius.
"The skies will be cloudy and there is a possibility of thunderstorms tonight (Wednesday) or tomorrow (Thursday) morning," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum and minimum temperatures on Thursday are likely to hover around 29 and 16 degrees Celsius, respectively, added the official.
Wednesday's minimum temperature was 14.9 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the year.
The maximum temperature Tuesday was three notches above average at 31.6 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature, too, settled three notches above average at 17.3 degrees Celsius, the Met Office said.
