New Delhi:
A large number of passengers of a Delhi-Shamli train created a ruckus at the Old Delhi Railway Station this evening over its late departure, injuring some persons including its driver.
The angry passengers started pelting stones and tried to block the tracks as the train was delayed by several hours.
They damaged several windowpanes of the train, which runs between Delhi and Shamli in Uttar Pradesh.
Some persons, including the train's driver, were hurt in the incident, although the injuries were not serious, police said.
Senior police officers rushed to the spot, along with additional forces, and controlled the situation.
The train later started its journey around 11 pm.
