New Delhi: A 25-year-old Russian woman was allegedly assaulted by an auto driver in south Delhi's Vasant Kunj on Sunday.
The woman told the police that she was on her way to Green Park from Vasant Kunj when she realised that the auto driver had taken her to a desolate spot.
When she tried shouting for help, the auto driver attacked her, said the woman. She struck him with a stone and ran away from the site, she told the police.
She reportedly approached a passer-by for help, who took her to the Vasant Kunj police station.
The Vasant Kunj police have registered a case of sexual assault.
