Security guard kills two colleagues, shoots self

New Delhi: Frustrated with his job pressure and low salary, a young security guard opened fire at four of his colleagues at a bank on Thursday night, killing two men and critically injuring two women. Moments later he shot himself dead.

The incident happened at Muthoot Financiers' branch in South-East Delhi's Govindpuri Extension at around 8 pm, a senior police official said.

Vishram, the 23-year-old security guard opened fire at his colleaugues without any provocation with his licensed firearm,

Four employees -- Jomesh, Krishna, Nidhi Ghai and Anu Gole -- suffered bullet injuries.

"As these people fell down, Vishram turned the gun on himself," the official said.

All five were rushed to AIIMS Trauma Centre where Vishram, Jomesh and Krishna were declared brought dead. Anu and Nidhi were stated to be in a critical condition by doctors, the official said.

"Vishram is said to have been frustrated as his pay was very low and that work pressure was high," the official said.
