New Delhi:
A self-styled godman was arrested in the national capital for allegedly murdering his accomplice after he insulted him while gambling in a group, police said today.
Aghori Baba (60) was arrested for the murder of 55-year-old Puran, a plumber who was living in a nursery after having lost his wife and family members.
During investigation, police came to know that Puran along with several other people consumed liquor and an argument erupted between him and baba while gambling.
Police also came to know that Puran had thrashed the Baba in front of others after which they suspected that the baba must have been murdered by him in a fit of rage.
During interrogation, Aghori Baba confessed to have committed the murder to take a revenge on Puran for insulting him.
