New Delhi:
The government will do the needful to ensure that the family of the 20-year-old Delhi University girl student, who was shot dead outside her college, gets justice, Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit today said.
Dikshit met the family of Radhika Tanwar at Naraina and conveyed her sympathies.
"There seems to be more violence against women, I don't see such violence on men," the Delhi Chief Minister said.
Tanwar, a second-year degree student, was killed outside her college in Dhaula Kuan's Shantiniketan area yesterday by a man, who is believed to have been stalking her for sometime.
This morning, students from the South Campus of Delhi University marched towards India Gate, demanding better safety and action in Radhika's case. The students said they expected better conditions from a city that has a woman as its Chief Minister. (Read: Delhi students march against college girl's shooting)
