New Delhi: Six children received burns in an explosion sparked by a leaking cooking gas cylinder in Delhi on Sunday morning, said police.
The blast took place in north Delhi's Sarai Rohilla area around 8.45 a.m. when the cylinder owner brought it out of his house and a passerby threw a smouldering bidi near it, police said
The injured are Rajkumar,9, Ajit,7, Rakesh,16, Khushbu,12, Govind,10, and Ujala,7.
"The children were playing close to the explosion spot," said a police officer.
