Residents in the national capital woke up to another sunny morning today with the minimum temperature settling at 27.7 degrees Celsius. The weather department has predicted a hot day ahead.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 40 degrees Celsius, a MeT official said.
The weatherman has predicted that the sky might turn partly cloudy in later part of the day but no rains are expected.
Yesterdays maximum temperature settled a notch below the season's average at 38.4 degrees Celsius while the minimum was recorded two notches below normal at 26 degrees Celsius.
