It was a sunny morning today in New Delhi with the minimum temperature recorded at 30.4 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, the weather office said.
"It will be partly cloudy sky on Thursday. Very light rain/thunderstorm is likely to occur in some areas of the region," said an official of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 40 degrees Celsius, the official said.
According to the weather office, the humidity at 8.30 am was 65 per cent.
Wednesday's maximum temperature settled at 41.2 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 28.6 degree Celsius, one notch above the season's average.
