It was a hot and sunny morning in the capital on Tuesday. The minimum temperature settled a notch below average at 24.5 degrees Celsius. The Met office has forecast light rain in some parts of the city.
"There might be light rain and thundershowers in some parts of the city," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 34 degrees Celsius. Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 73 percent.
The capital recorded 2.5 mm of rainfall since 8.30 p.m. on Monday.
Monday's maximum temperature settled a notch above at 35 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature settled a notch below average at 24.1 degrees Celsius.
