It was a sunny morning in New Delhi with the minimum temperature recorded at 14.5 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season's average, the weather office said.
"The sky would remain mainly clear in the day ahead with mist/haze most likely to occur on Wednesday morning," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
According to the Meteorological office, maximum temperature is likely to hover around 27.4 degrees Celsius two notches below the season's average.
Humidity at 8.30 am was 86 per cent while the visibility at the same time stood at 2000 metres.
Monday's maximum temperature settled at 27.4 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was 17.1 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
