It was a sunny and warm morning today in the national capital with the minimum temperature settling at 27 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average.
"The skies will remain clear during the day but it will turn cloudy with dust or thunderstorm which are likely to occur towards evening or night," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
Maximum temperature is likely to hover around 43 degrees Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 am was 45 per cent, the official said.
Friday turned out to be very hot for Delhiites with the maximum temperature soaring to 43 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average -- making it the hottest May 13 since 2011 while the minimum temperature of the day settled at 27.5 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average.
