Supreme Court to hear JNU student union's poll plea

New Delhi: The Supreme Court will hear the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) Students Union's petition on holding elections. For the last three years elections have not been held in JNU.

The Apex Court stopped the elections because the university violated norms formulated by the court.

JNU students union wants these norms to be relaxed.
