New Delhi:
Metro services on Violet Line, that connects Delhi to Fariadabad, were affected late tomorrow evening, due to a technical snag on a train.
The train that suffered a glitch, slowed down around 9.30 pm, resulting in a cascading effect, as the ones trailing it, crawled as well.
"It took one hour and 15 minutes for me to reach whereas it usually takes 30 minutes," a passenger, who travels from Central Secretariat to Sarita Vihar complained.
An official of DMRC said that the train developed a problem on the mode on which it is run, but that it did not halt train operations completely.
The 35-km-long Violet Line (line 6) stretches from ITO to Fariadabad's Escorts Mujesar.
