New Delhi:
A technical problem in the immigration system left hundreds of passengers stranded at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi on Tuesday night.
Official sources said the computerised immigration system at the airport stopped working at around 8:30 pm due to a technical problem.
Though the problem was rectified within an hour, it left hundred of passengers stranded as they were not given clearance to either enter or exit the country, the sources said.
An inquiry has been instituted to find out the reasons for the temporary failure of the immigration system, they said.
