New Delhi:
A 16-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by three men in a restaurant in Delhi, police said on Friday. The accused have been arrested.
The victim told the police she met her neighbour Omar, 21, at a market in Jafrabad area in east Delhi on Thursday afternoon. He took her to a restaurant where two of his friends were present.
"They raped her in a secluded area in the restaurant and threatened to kill her if she told anyone," a police officer said.
"She was also beaten up during the sexual assault," the officer added. The girl went home and informed her parents.
Police said they have arrested Omar and his friends Feroz, 23, and Salman, 21, late on Thursday night.
