Teen battered to death by minor in front of his girlfriend

New Delhi: A teenaged boy was battered to death in the presence of his girlfriend allegedly by her minor brother and friend after the victim created a scene at her house, police said on Monday.

The murder of Vishnu took place on April 4 in Shahbad Mohammadpur area. Four people, including the minor girl and two minor boys, were apprehended on Sunday.

Vishnu was found dead on April 5 in Raj Nagar area.

During investigation, it came to light that Vishnu had a relationship with the girl and on April 4, he had gone to her house after consuming alcohol and had a quarrel.

"Movements of the girl and her friend Deepak, an accused, were analysed. It also came to light that Vishnu had reached the girl's house in an inebriated state after which her family objected and there was a quarrel.

"During the scuffle, the minor brother of the girl who is also friend of Vishnu brought a wooden stick and clobbered Vishnu. Deepak and the brother were so furious that they continued beating him till he died," A K Ojha, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South-West), said.

After confirming that Vishnu was dead, they carried the body with the help of another minor and dumped it in a drain in Raj Nagar.
