West Delhi:
New Delhi: A teenager was arrested here for allegedly stealing a car and Rs 34 lakh from his employer in west Delhi, police said today.
The accused Rahul Kumar (19), working as a driver with Parmod Mittal, a builder, for the last two months, was arrested yesterday, they said.
According to police, Mittal's business partner had sent Rahul in a car to get cash from his wife, who gave him a bag containing over Rs 34 lakh. The accused fled away with the
cash and the car.
Police have recovered the stolen car and cash from the accused after nabbing him near Ajmeri gate.
"He was spotted purchasing ticket outside the railway station from Ajmeri Gate side. He was immediately arrested and on searching his baggage, Rs 30 lakh was recovered from his
possession," a senior police official said.
