New Delhi:
A teenager has been arrested for the murder of three women in a slum cluster of Jehangirpuri area of north-west Delhi.
According to the police, he had spent Rs 50 which he earned at a hosiery factory where he worked. When his mother asked him for the money, the teenager approached his neighbour and borrowed an equivalent sum.
When the neighbour went to the boy's house to claim the money, his mother discovered that her son had lied to her and then thrashed him in public.
Enraged at the humiliation, the teenager then stabbed the neighbour with scissors on Sunday night. The victim's landlady and her daughter were also stabbed when they intervened.
