Weather continued to be hot and humid in the national capital as the maximum temperature settled three degrees above normal while rain continued to elude the city.
According to MeT department, the day temperature was recorded at 36.1 degree Celsius which was three notches above normal. The maximum temperature yesterday remained at 36 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature was registered at 27.4 degrees, one notch above the normal and nominally up from previous day's 27.4 degree Celsius.
Humidity remained between 55 and 83 per cent. The weatherman has predicted generally cloudy skies with the likelihood of light rainfall and thundershowers in some areas.
Maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to remain around 36 and 27 degrees, respectively.
