Thai national dies in plane

New Delhi: A 28-year-old Thai national died on board a Bangkok-London flight this evening, forcing the aircraft to make a priority landing for a medical emergency at the IGI airport here. Thawee Tringram died due to cardiac arrest when she was on board Eva Air flight BR67 from Bangkok to London, airport sources said.

The pilot of the aircraft asked for a priority landing due to a medical emergency and landed at 17:17 hours at the airport. Doctors on the ground rushed to the flight to give medical aid to the Thai national, but she was declared already dead.

After completion of formalities, the body was handed over to the Delhi Police and the flight took off at 1942 hours for London, sources said.
