New Delhi: Three unidentified men allegedly fired shots at two policemen in the busy Connaught Place area in Central Delhi on Saturday evening.
According to reports, the men allegedly fired after the policemen stopped them for questioning. The three men were reportedly walking near an underpass at the Shankar market in Connaught Place at around 9 PM when the incident took place. No one was injured.
"Four rounds were fired by the attackers on constables Prateek and Sandeep, but nobody was injured," a senior police official told PTI, adding that one of the attackers was apprehended while the remaining two managed to flee.
"We are interrogating the accused and efforts are on to nab the remaining two," the official said.
