New Delhi:
Three students died and two others sustained injuries on Tuesday morning when the car they were travelling in crashed into a bus near the Malviya Nagar metro station in the capital.
The two injured students have been admitted to the Max Hospital in Saket and are reported to be critical.
According to reports, they boys (all aged between 20 and 25) were travelling in a Mitsubishi Lancer. After crossing the Malviya Nagar metro station, they tried to overtake a car from the wrong side. While doing this, they got blind sighted and hit a bus that was standing right in front.
The car's owner has been traced, but it was revealed that he had sold it off a few months back. Police has said that the car owner's son had lent the car to his friends for the night.
All the five boys in the car were students in Delhi.
