New Delhi: Traffic jams were witnessed in central and east Delhi today after a portion of an arterial road caved in near the busy ITO intersection.
A crater-like hole has been formed on Bhairon Marg which has been closed. Traffic has been diverted till repair work is completed.
"There was bumper-to-bumper traffic on Geeta Colony and ITO flyovers. I was stuck in Shakarpur for over an hour," Shekhar, a commuter, told IANS.
