Ballia, Uttar Pradesh: Two persons were killed and two others injured when a jeep ran over them in Sukhpura area, police said in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh today.
Jagmohan Yadav (50) and a 60-year-old unidentified person were killed when they were hit by the jeep in Banhari village yesterday, they said.
Police said the jeep hit a tree and overturned, thereafter. The occupants of the jeep, P Mathur (40) and his mother Asha Rani (60) were injured.
The injured have been admitted to the district hospital, they said.
