It was a warm and sunny Saturday with maximum temperature shooting up two notches above the average to 35.3 degrees Celsius. Similar conditions are expected tomorrow.
The minimum temperature settled at 19.7 degrees, which was average for this time of the season, while humidity wavered between a high and low of 91 and 23 per cent.
"The sky will be clear on Sunday and the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 35 and 20 degrees respectively," said a met department official.
