It was a warm Sunday morning in New Delhi with the minimum temperature recorded at 21 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, the weather office said.
"The sky would remain partly cloudy throughout the day with haze very likely to occur on Monday morning," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
According to the Met office, maximum temperature is likely to hover around 38 degrees Celsius, five notches above the season's average.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 37 percent while the visibility stood at 3,000 metres.
Saturday's maximum temperature settled at 37.5 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 25.2 degrees Celsius, six notches above the season's average.
