It was a warm morning today in New Delhi with the minimum temperature recorded at 24.2 degrees Celsius, the weather office said.
"The sky would remain clear throughout the day with dust and haze very likely to occur on Monday morning and evening," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
According to the Met office, maximum temperature is likely to hover around 40 degrees Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 am was 33 per cent while the visibility stood at 2,000 metres.
Saturday's maximum temperature settled at 39.9 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 22 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average.
