It was a warm Tuesday morning in Delhi. The minimum temperature was 26.5 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average, the Met Office said.
"The sky will remain mainly clear. The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 39 degrees Celsius," said an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official.
Monday's maximum temperature was a notch above the season's average at 38.3 degrees Celsius, while the minimum settled two notches below the season's average at 24 degrees Celsius.
