It was a sunny Friday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 26 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average. The Met Office has forecast a partly cloudy day with light rain.
"The sky will turn partly cloudy noon onwards and the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 35 degrees Celsius," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The city has received 6.8 mm of rainfall since Thursday.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 78 per cent.
Thursday's maximum temperature was recorded at 32.7 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average while the minimum temperature settled at 26.1 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.
