Delhi Congress launched the campaign on potholes to highlight AAP government's negligence.
New Delhi:
Politics over potholes in the city continued on Wednesday with Delhi Congress claiming that it has received a "tremendous response" from people over the past two days on its social media protest campaign against PWD and MCD.
"Workers of the party put fake crocodiles into potholes in Zakira Chowk, Najafgarh Road and Moti Nagar areas," DPCC chief Ajay Maken said.
Senior Congress leader Chattar Singh claimed, "There has been a tremendous response to the #JaagoYaBhaago campaign on WhatsApp, as 1,000 photos and thousands of messages from all over Delhi on the pathetic condition of Delhi roads have already been received."
Delhi Congress launched the campaign to highlight AAP government's "criminal negligence", which, it said, led to the formation of potholes in the city.
It was launched on Tuesday on WhatsApp number 9891620771 "against the Delhi government and the BJP-ruled MCDs" and invites people to upload pictures of potholes along with details such as the name of the road, Assembly or ward and the sender's name.
