A woman and her two accomplices were arrested for abducting and murdering her husband, Delhi Police said on Monday.
Sachin, 22, Sunil, 30, and Prabha abducted and murdered Prabha's husband Rakesh. The three were arrested on Saturday.
"Prabha was living at her parents' place in Jaitpur due to strained relationship with her husband. During her stay, she joined a hotel management institute at Ashok Nagar where she met Sachin. They both became close to each other and decided to marry," said a police officer.
"On May 6, Prabha called Rakesh at her place to stay in the absence of her parents. She also called Sachin who came along with his distant relative Sunil," added the officer.
"Prabha put five or six alprax tablets in the milk given to Rakesh. When Rakesh became drowsy Sachin and Sunil entered the house. The trio strangulated Rakesh and the body was thrown at an isolated spot in a jungle the same night," said the officer.
