Woman gangraped in south Delhi

New Delhi: A 30-year-old married woman was allegedly gangraped in south Delhi by three men, who have been arrested, police said on Friday.

The three men - Sandeep, Ravinder and Umesh - were arrested from Sonepat in Haryana on Thursday, police sources said.

The trio abducted the woman at knife point at Jamali Road in south Delhi on Tuesday while she was returning home from work in Gurgaon.

One of the men is a Blueline bus conductor.

They allegedly raped the woman at an isolated place and threatened of dire consequences if she told about the incident to anyone, the sources said.

However, the woman told her husband about the incident after which they approached the police. A medical examination has confirmed rape.
