New Delhi: An unidentified young woman allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a Delhi Metro train today evening, police said.
The incident took place at the Yamuna Bank station around 6.10 pm.
A Central Industrial Security Force officer told IANS that the CCTV footage showed the woman, in her mid-20s, wandering aimlessly at the metro station for more than 10 minutes before jumping in front of an arriving metro train at platform number three.
"We did not recover any suicide note from her possession. Metro services on the route were disrupted for around 20 minutes after the incident," the officer said.
