New Delhi: A 25-year-old woman was reportedly killed by her father-in-law in south Delhi's Neb Sarai area, police said on Monday.
According to police, Arshad Ali killed his daughter-in-law, Sabina on Sunday and fled the spot. The motive behind the killing was not clear yet.
"We received a call on Sunday night and when a police team reached the spot, they found her dead. Ali is absconding," a police officer told IANS.
"A heavy knife was identified as the murder weapon," the officer added.
Sabina was married to Ali's son, Shabir, and had a two-year-old daughter. Both Ali and Shabir are painters.
