Woman, paramour arrested in Delhi for husband's killing
Delhi: The Delhi police have arrested a woman and her paramour for killing the woman's husband. The incident occurred on March 22 in Sultanpuri area.

Police said that the deceased Samar Singh used to object to his wife Beena's illicit relationship with her brother-in-law Ashwani Kumar. "Beena then hatched a conspiracy with Ashwani to eliminate her husband. On Tuesday, when Samar was at home, she and Ashwani overpowered him and strangulated him. They then threw the body in a park near the house," said DCP (Outer District), Chhaya Sharma.

A passer-by informed the police about the body.  During investigation, police questioned relatives and neighbours of the deceased and found that Beena was having an illicit relationship with her brother-in-law and the deceased used to beat her up on this.

"Beena was then questioned by the police and she gave contradictory statements. This further strengthened the police's suspicion about her and when they  questioned her again, she broke down and confessed about her involvement in the murder. Ashwani was later arrested by police," said a police official.

Police said that Samar used to paint cars and other big vehicles and Ashwani used to visit Beena when Samar would be away at work.
