New Delhi: The body of an unidentified woman was today found stuffed inside a sack at Laxminagar in east Delhi's Shakarpur area, police said.
The sack, which was emanating foul smell, was spotted this morning in the residential area of J and K Block by the locals who informed the police about it.
When the sack was opened the woman's body was found stuffed inside it, a senior police official said.
Prima facie, it appeared that the woman, who appears around 28-years-old, was strangulated to death and her body was dumped, he said.
Police are probing into the case.
