The body of a young woman with injury marks was found stuffed in a carry bag at the New Delhi Railway station premises this morning, police said.
The incident came to light at around 7:30 am when police received a call about an unattended bag lying in the station premises.
Police rushed to the spot and found the body of the woman, aged 20-22 years, with her hands tied inside the bag, a senior police official said.
Investigators said there were injury marks on her body.
The girl is of fair complexion and 5"2 in height, the official said.
"We are in the process of identifying the girl. The girl was murdered somewhere else and her body has been abandoned here. We are examining CCTV footage to get some information," he said.
