It has added four new subjects and dropped three subjects from the previous syllabus.

The four new subjects added are:
  • Public Interest Litigation
  • Taxation
  • Intellectual Property
  • The Land Acquisition Act 1894

The three subjects dropped are:
  • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
  • Jurisprudence
  • The Limitation Act, 1963

Other than the changes in the syllabus, every other detail remains the same. AIBE will be conducted in 11 languages and will be an open book exam.
